How long does a battery fitting take?

Most at-home battery fittings take around 20 to 30 minutes once the installer arrives. Some vehicles may take a little longer depending on battery location, access, or vehicle-specific requirements.

For example, some Audi Q7 /VW Touareg /Porsche Cayenne models often have batteries fitted under the drivers seat, which can take some more time to access and replace.

We do not fit batteries that require the vehicle to be hoisted off the ground or have its wheels removed (e.g. some Fiat /Dodge / Chrysler SUV's).

How do I know which battery is right for my car?

The right battery depends on your vehicle’s make, model, year, engine type, and driving needs, including the type of Idle-start-Stop system fitted (if any).

If your Registration Number is not listed, just contact us for a list of batteries that will work perfectly. We have batteries for ALL makes and models, going back to 1950 and earlier, and including the latest Hybrids, Plug in Hybrids and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).

Note that we only replace the 12V auxiliary battery on Battery vehicles, not the main high-voltage battery pack that drives the motors.

We do stock many other brands for delivery, contact us if you have another preference.

No problem. If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, contact Car Battery Pro as soon as possible and we’ll help arrange a new time that suits you.

Late cancellations (within 2 hours of the booked fitting time) may incur a callout cancellation fee of $49.95.
