Amaron Onyx is an Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) engineered specifically for the elevated cycling demands of start-stop technology. Reinforced internal construction withstands the dramatically increased number of starts a modern start-stop vehicle puts a battery through every drive, while the underlying RAD-GRID stamped grid keeps corrosion resistance high and service life long. Replacing an Onyx with a standard car battery will dramatically shorten battery life and may damage the start-stop system itself.
