Panasonic are the No.1 Factory-fitted battery in the most reliable cars in the world. Think Lexus, Subaru etc.

We buy Panasonic fresh from the factory in Japan, and all models are at the Original Equipment OEM Specification, and often much higher (see the blue Caos range). This includes specialist models (e.g. MX-5 - NA Series) and a multitude of new Hybrid models.

We often remove 10 - 14 year old factory batteries from these cars. Even the Hybrid models (e.g. Toyota Camry) often last 8+ years. Our replacement is identical, right down to the temperature sensor!

The Design balances long life in hot and cold climates, with good starting power and strong reserve capacity to run the vehicle’s electronic computers and accessories. This requires stable voltage in all conditions, especially for newer models fitted with Idle-Start-Stop (ISS) systems. It is the combination of long-life, stable voltage, overall capacity and adequate starting power that needs to be balanced. Most after-market batteries focus on “CCA” for marketing reasons, to the detriment of these other critical requirements.
